 
Become a Certified Practitioner
Currently there are two levels of certification in BodyTalk; Certified BodyTalk Practitioner (CBP) and Advanced Certified BodyTalk Practitioner (AdvCBP).
In order to practice BodyTalk you are required to reach the first level of certification (CBP), the second level of certification is for those who are interested in continuing their study in BodyTalk to achieve the highest standards set by the IBA (International BodyTalk Association). It is not required to become certified to take and continue studying in BodyTalk, there are many people who take these courses for personal growth and development.
Certified BodyTalk Practitioner
The first step to achieving this goal is to take the BodyTalk Module 1 and 2 training. These courses are considered the basis and foundation of the BodyTalk System. Once this is done there are several steps that need to be attained including:
•Become a member of the International BodyTalk Association.
• Complete 50 practical sessions (without study materials).
• Take the Module 1 and 2 Advanced Practical or monitor (re-take) the Module 1 and 2 Training (please note that when you monitor the BodyTalk Module 1 and 2 training the cost of the training is significantly reduced to $371 for both, including GST).
• Write and pass the Certification Exam which consists of written and practical sections. The exam is 2 hours in length and can be written with any Certified BodyTalk Instructor at a time arranged between the two of you.
• Once all of these steps are complete you are considered a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner.
Advanced Certified BodyTalk Practitioner
The certification process for this requires that you meet the following standards:
• Complete Modules 1, 2, 3, 4(7), 6, 9 and the Advanced Modules Integration Course;
• Completion of a 90 hour Anatomy Physiology Course;
• Writing and passing of the Advanced Modules Exams (there are two exams that must be completed: the Module 3 & 6 exam and the Module 4(7) & 9 Exam);
• IBA Membership
• Completion of two addition IBA courses (Mindscape, BreakThrough, Freefall, or any of the specialized BodyTalk Courses);
• 10 well documented case studies. |
